Removing materials from highway <br /> <br />(a) Any person who dropsl or permits to be dropped or <br />thrownl upon any highway any destructive or injurious <br />materiall or other material such as dirtl shelll oill <br />etc.1 which would be detrimental to the use or <br />appearance of said highwaYI shall immediately remove <br />the same or cause it to be removed. <br /> <br />(b) Any p~rson removing a wrecked or damaged vehicle <br />from a highway shall.remove any glass or other <br />injurious substance dropped upon the highway from <br />such vehicle. <br /> <br />Section 4.. Dumping at designated grounds only <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to dumpl unloadl <br /> <br />discharge I or in any manner 'place thereon or cause to be placed <br /> <br />thereonl any garbagel trash or other waste materials on any lotI <br /> <br />tract or parcel of land located within the city limitsl except at <br />garbage dumps or dumping grounds which are ownedl maintained or <br />operated by the ci tY'1 or at such places as are designated for <br />garbage disposal by the director of health of the city. <br /> <br />Section 5. Throwing paper or trash on streets or <br /> <br />sidewalks <br /> <br />It.shall be unlawful for any person to cast or throw <br />any paper or other trash into or upon any public street or side- <br />walk or any part thereof of the city. <br />Section 6. Ma,nurel peelings or other litter on streets <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to throw~ dispose <br />or place any,stable manure~ hullsl peelingsl handbills or other <br /> <br />I <br />deposits or litter upon sidewalksl streets or other public places <br />in the city. <br /> <br />Section 7. Penalty <br />Any person violating any of the provisions of this <br />Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanorl and upon con- <br />viction shall be fined in any sum not less than Twenty-five Dollars <br />($25.00) nor more than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00)1 and each day <br /> <br />of such violation shall be deemed a separate offense. <br />Section 8. Repealing of conflicting ordinances <br />All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith <br /> <br />are hereby repealed. <br />
