THE CITY OF LA PORTE; FIRE MARSHAL; FIRE CHIEF; DIRECTOR OF <br />CIVIL DEFENSE; CITY ATTO~EY; CITY "INSPECTOR;. CITY ENGINEER AND <br />DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS; AND CITY 'HEALTH OFFICER. . <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF LA PORTE; TEXAS, THAT: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Commission of the City of La Porte <br /> <br />hereby makes the followi~g appointments, for the term b~ginning <br /> <br />the 1st day of May, A.D. 1966. All appointees shall serve until <br /> <br />their successors have been duly appointed and have qualified: <br /> <br />Section 2. MARILY~ KELLEY is hereby appointed City Clerk, <br /> <br />Director of Finance, and Tax Assessor-Collector, and shall serve in <br /> <br />such office for the termb~ginning the 1st day of May, A.D. 1966. <br />Section 3. RUTH HUDDLESTON is hereby appointed Assistant <br /> <br />City Clerk and Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, and shall serve in <br /> <br />such office for the term beginning the 1st day of May, A.D. 1966. <br />Section 4.
