<br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING,' ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY LYING
<br />WITHIN B;LOCK ELEVEN HUNDRED THIRTY-.EIGHT (1138) IN THE TOWN OF
<br />LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY,. TEXAS.
<br />
<br />WHEMAS, the said alley in Block Eleven Hundred Thirty-
<br />e~ght (1138) has never been opened or used as a public thoro:ugh-
<br />fare, and the public utilities now maki~g use of such alley have
<br />
<br />all, given their ~ritten consent for its closi~g; and
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of La Porte
<br />
<br />has determined and, does hereby find, ,detei:mine and declare that
<br />
<br />the said alley is not suitable, .needed, or beneficial to the
<br />
<br />public as a public alley, and should be vacated, abandoned and
<br />
<br />permanently closed:
<br />
<br />NOW, TnEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
<br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY ,OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, "THAT:
<br />
<br />Section 1. -The alley located in Block Eleven Hundred
<br />
<br />Thirty-e~ght (l138) of the Town of La Porte, Harris County, ,Texas,
<br />is hereby permanently vacated, ,abandoned and closed by the City
<br />
<br />of La Porte.
<br />
<br />Section 2. ..This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
<br />
<br />force from and after its pass~ge and approval.
