<br />AN ORDINANCE VACATING,ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY LYING
<br />WITHIN BLOCK SIX HUNDRED EIGHTY-FIVE (685) IN THE TOWN OF '
<br />LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY,. TEXAS , SAVE AND EXCEPT A DOWN GUY
<br />EASEMENT THEREIN.

<br />WHEREAS, the said alley in Block No. Six Hundred E~ghty-
<br />five (685), Town of La Porte, ~arris County, ~exas, has never
<br />
<br />.'.
<br />
<br />been opened or used as a public thoro~ghfare, ,and the public
<br />utilities now making use of such alley have all. given their written
<br />consent for its closi~g', with the exception hereinafter noted; and
<br />WHEREAS, ,the, Ci ty Commission of the City of La Porte has
<br />
<br />determined and does hereby find, .determine and declare that the
<br />
<br />said alley is not suitable, ,needed, ,or beneficial to the public as
<br />
<br />a public alley, and 'should be vacated, .abandoned and permanently

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
<br />COlVlMISS ION OF THE CITY ,OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, 'THAT:

<br />Section 1. The alley located in Block Six Hundred

<br />E~ghty-five (685) of the Town of La Porte, Harris County,Texas"
<br />
<br />is hereby permanently vacated, .abandoned and closed by the City
<br />
<br />of La Porte; provided, however, that the City of La Porte expressly
<br />
<br />reserves an easement, ,and the r~ght of i~gress and ~gress for
<br />'. installation, ,repair, maintenance and replacement, ,for the use
<br />and benefit of all public utilities which are presently or may
<br />hereafter be franchised in the City of La Porte, ~hich easement
<br />
