<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-41 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS AND THE PORT OF HOUSTON AUTHORITY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of La Porte, Texas has seen <br />a need for a Mutual Aid Agreem'ent with the Port of Houston <br />Authority. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />emergency <br /> <br />management <br /> <br />personnel <br /> <br />representing the City of La Porte recognize an immediate need <br /> <br />for cooperation and communication as in a Mutual Aid <br /> <br />Agreement between the two jurisdictions in order to protect <br />the lives and property of the citizens of La Porte and The <br />Port of Houston Authority. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the following is a Mutual Aid <br />Agreement proposed between the City of La Porte and the Port <br />of Houston Authority. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />PASSED and APPROVED this the IS ~ day of IJt./l ~~ <br />1986. <br /> <br />CITY OF LA PORTE <br /> <br />BY: ~7/1:~ <br /> <br />N man Malone, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />(fb~J~ <br /> <br />Cherie Black, City Secretary <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />Knox Askins, City Attorney <br />
