<br />-- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 780- MMM , Page 2. <br /> <br />Section 4. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby <br />accepts the recommendation of the City of La Porte Planning and <br /> <br />Zoning Commission, and the zoning classification of the herein- <br /> <br />after described parcel of land, situated with in the corporate <br /> <br />1 imi ts of the Ci ty of La Porte, is hereby changed in accordance <br /> <br />therewi th, and the zoning clas~if ica tion of said parcel of land <br /> <br />shall hereafter be "Light Industrial," with a special use permit <br /> <br />under the provisions of Ordinance 780-XX, with the permissible <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />use strictly limited to allow operation of a rail and truck-served <br /> <br />public warehouse/freight terminal, including rail spur, with <br />minimum setback of thirty feet (30i) from all public rights-of-way. <br /> <br />The description of said pat:cel of land re-zoned is as follows, <br /> <br />to-wit: <br /> <br />That certain'parcel of land, owned <br />by Interamerican Public Distribution <br />Corporation, as shown on the shaded <br />area on a plat attached hereto as <br />Exhibit "D", incorporated by reference <br />herein, and made a part hereof for all <br />purposes. <br /> <br />Section 5. All ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />to the extent of conflict only. <br /> <br />Section 6. The City Council officially finds, determines, <br /> <br />recites and declares that a sufficient written notice of the <br /> <br />date, hour, place and subject of this meeting of the City Council <br />was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall <br /> <br />of the City for the time required by law preceding this meeting, <br /> <br />as required by the Open Meetings Law, Article 6252-17, Texas <br /> <br />Revised Civil Statutes Annotated; and that this meeting has been <br /> <br />open to the public as required by law at all times during which <br /> <br />this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />considered and formally acted upon. The City Council further <br /> <br />ratifies, approves and confirms such written notice and the <br /> <br />contents and posting thereof. <br />
