<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 780-' QQQ , Page 2. <br /> <br />Section 4. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby <br />accepts the recommendation of the City of La Porte Planning and <br /> <br />Zoning Commission, and the zoning classification of the herein- <br /> <br />after described parcel of land, situated within the corporate <br /> <br />1 imi ts of the City of La Porte, is hereby changed in accordance <br /> <br />therewi th, and the zoning classification of said parcel of land <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />shall hereafter be "Industrial," with a special use permit under <br />the provisions of Ordinance 780-XX, with the permissible use of <br /> <br />said property strictly limited to shipping container storage <br />and repair, and truck terminal operations. The description of <br /> <br />said parcel of land re-zoned is as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />4.814 acre tract of the Enoch Brinson <br />Survey, with frontage on State Highway <br />225 as its north boundary, the Southern <br />Pacific Railroad right-of-way as its <br />south boundary, and Strang Road as its <br />east boundary, reference to which is <br />here made for all purposes. <br /> <br />Section'S. All ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed, <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />to the extent of conflict only. <br />Section .6. The City Council officially finds, determines, <br />recites and declares that a sufficient written notice of the <br /> <br />date, hour, place and, subject of this meeting of the City Council <br /> <br />was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall <br />of the City for the time required by law preceding this meeting, <br /> <br />as required by the Open Meetings Law, Article 6252-17, Texas <br /> <br />Revised Civil Statutes Annotated; and that this meeting has been <br /> <br />open to the public as required by law at all times during which <br /> <br />this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, <br /> <br />considered and formally acted upon. <br /> <br />The Ci ty Counc il further <br /> <br />ratifies, approves and confirms such written notice and the <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />cont€nts and posting thereof. <br />
