The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby accepts the recommendation of the City of La porte Planning and Zoning Commission, and the zoning classification of the herein- after described parcel of land, situated wi thin the corporate . limits of the City of La Porte, is hereby changed in accordance therewith, and the zonIng classification of said parcel of land shall hereafter be "Light Industrial, II and with a special use permi t, \'1i th use strictly 1 imi ted to allow a container storage and repair yard. The description of said parcel of land re-zoned is as follows, to-wit: . That certain 23-acre tract of land, more or less, out of Lot Thirteen (13), Staashen Subdivision; SAVE AND EXCEPT that portion now being utilized by Central Freight Lines, Inc., as more particularly shown on a plat outlined in yellow, attached hereto as Exhibit "D", incorporated by reference herein, and made a part hereof for all purposes. Section 5. It shall be a cond i tion of this Special Use Permit that, at all times while the above-described property is used as a container storage and repair yard, that a Greenbelt Area, as required by Section 10-700 of Ordinance 780, be planted and continuously maintained. Failure to keep and maintain such Greenbelt area shall cause this Special Use Permit to be subject to revocation by City Council. Section 6. All ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed, to the extent of conflict only. Section 7. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after . its passage and approval.
