The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby <br /> <br />accepts the recommendation of the City of La porte Planning and <br />Zoning Commission, and the zoning classification of the herein- <br /> <br />after described parcel of land, situated wi thin the corporate <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />limits of the City of La Porte, is hereby changed in accordance <br /> <br />therewith, and the zonIng classification of said parcel of land <br /> <br />shall hereafter be "Light Industrial, II and with a special use <br /> <br />permi t, \'1i th use strictly 1 imi ted to allow a container storage <br /> <br />and repair yard. The description of said parcel of land re-zoned <br /> <br />is as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />That certain 23-acre tract of land, <br />more or less, out of Lot Thirteen (13), <br />Staashen Subdivision; SAVE AND EXCEPT <br />that portion now being utilized by <br />Central Freight Lines, Inc., as more <br />particularly shown on a plat outlined <br />in yellow, attached hereto as Exhibit <br />"D", incorporated by reference herein, <br />and made a part hereof for all purposes. <br /> <br />Section 5. It shall be a cond i tion of this Special Use <br /> <br />Permit that, at all times while the above-described property is <br /> <br />used as a container storage and repair yard, that a Greenbelt <br /> <br />Area, as required by Section 10-700 of Ordinance 780, be planted <br />and continuously maintained. Failure to keep and maintain such <br /> <br /> Greenbelt area shall cause this Special Use Permit to be subject <br /> to revocation by City Council. <br /> Section 6. All ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed, <br /> to the extent of conflict only. <br /> Section 7. This Ordinance shall be in effect from and after <br />. its passage and approval. <br />
