<br />.,. <br /> <br />e- <br /> <br />eo, <br /> <br />:... <br />.. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 795 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1968 AND <br />ENDING JUNE 30, 1969, AND LEVYING A TAX OF #.92 ON EACH $100.00 OF ASSESSED <br />VALUE OF ALL REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN SAID CITY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. For the purpose of providing a budget for the fiscal year <br />beginning July lt 1968 and ending June 30, 1969, an ad valorem tax of <br />$.92 on each $100.00 of assessed value of all real and personal property <br />located within the City of La Porte is hereby levied and such tax shall be <br />collected under and by the authority of this City and of the State of Texas, <br />and the sums set forth below be and the same are hereby appropriated for the <br />maintenance, operation and improvement of the Government of the City of <br />La Porte, and the same shall be strictly applied for the several purposes <br />and in the respective amounts hereinafter specified. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Cit.1 Commission may transfer a sum from one (1) item <br />to another item within a fund, except that the Bonded Debt Service Fund <br />shall not be subject to such alteration by the Oi ty Commission; ani that <br />a sum may be transferred from one (1) fund to another fund only on the <br />authority of an ordinance passed by the City Commission. <br /> <br />Section 4.
