<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />-2- <br />difference between the gross rate and the net rate, representi~g <br />a discount, shall be allowed for payment of bills within ten (10) <br />days after the date of the bill. If a, gas bill is not paid <br />within ten (10), days after its date, the gross bill shall apply. <br />The Railroad Commission of Texas, after notice and <br />hearing of its Docket No. 246, by its order dated December 1, <br />1958, established and fixed the rate to be paid at the City Gate <br />for gas purchased for resale to the consumers affected by this <br />ordinance. If such City Gate Rate is hereafter decreased or <br />increased by subsequent order of the Railroad Commission (and <br />from time to time as such orders may issue) the rate herein <br />fixed for Residential and Commercial use shall forthwith be <br />likewise adjusted by cha~ging the price per hundred cubic feet, <br />of each step of the above two schedules in an amount equivalent <br />to the cha~ge in the Gate Rate, minus or plus, as may be <br />appropriate. <br />The rates in effect hereunder shall also be adjusted <br />by the Company (1) so as to accomplish a decrease or increase <br />of such rates equivalent to the change in the amount of taxes <br />or other, government imposition payable solely by reason of any <br />cha~ge in rates pursuant to the provisions of the precedi~g <br />par~graph; and (2) upon the imposition of any new or increased <br />rate of tax or similar cha~ge imposed by any, governmental agency <br />on the Company and determined or measured by the volume, proceeds, <br />or receipts of gas delivered to such customers, to the extent <br />necessary to pass the ef~ect thereof on to such consumers. <br />Such increase or decrease in rates, as appropriate, <br />shall be ,passed along by the Company to its consumers by an <br />adjustment in the above net monthly r~tes after the Company <br />has filed with the City Clerk a sworn statement setting forth <br />the cha~ges in the gate rate and/or taxes and the adjusted <br />residential and commercial rates which result therefrom. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I <br />
