When the container smallest in size will <br /> <br />adequately.and completely serve several business institutions, <br /> <br />they may be required to use the same container and pay a <br />pro rata part of the charge, determined according to the approxi~ <br /> <br />mate relative quantity of space used, but in no event shall any <br /> <br />user pay any less than the minimum charge hereinabove established. <br /> <br />Section 9. Lids and end doors of all containers shall be <br /> <br />kept closed at all ~imes except when the container is being <br /> <br />filled. Empty boxes shall be flattened before placing in <br /> <br />containers. <br /> <br />Section 10. 'It shall be unlawful for any person to disturb <br /> <br />a sanitation container furnished by the City or the contents <br /> <br />thereof. " However; this subsection shall not apply to the owner <br /> <br />or occupant of the premises for which such container has been <br /> <br />furnished, nor to their employees, nor to the duly authorized <br /> <br />employees of the City. <br />Section ll~ It shall be unlawful to make a fire or burn <br /> <br />any material in a sanitation container furnished by the City <br /> <br />or to ; -paint or mark upon same, or to place any poster, <br /> <br />placard or sign upon same. <br /> <br />Section 12. Whenever it has been determined as set forth <br /> <br />above that any owner or occupier of a premise will receive <br /> <br />sanitation container" system service for the removal of garbage <br /> <br />and trash, it shall pe unlawful for such owner or occupier to <br /> <br />allow any accumulation of ~arbage or trash, as defined in this <br />article, around said container or in the vicinity of said con- <br /> <br />tainers and it shall be their duty to place all garbage and <br /> <br />trash i'nto said containers. The use of any other system of <br /> <br />garbage container for collection by the sanitation department, <br /> <br />when sanitation container system service is provided, other <br /> <br />than as set forth above, shall be unlawful. <br /> <br />Section 13. The minimum charge set out herein will <br /> <br />remain in effect and will apply to all business establishments <br /> <br />regardless of w?ether or not the establishment uses the collection <br /> <br /> <br />services of the Sanitation Division. <br />
