No vendor parti- <br />cipant shall pour, toss, handout or otherwise <br />distribute any noxious OI,' offensive substance. <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />Permits <br /> <br />, All vendors shall be subj ect to the' following <br />regulations: " <br /> <br />a. <br /> <br />Requirement of Permit - no vendor will be , <br />'allowed a space without first applying for and <br />obtaining a pennit from the Main street Associa- <br />tion or event coordinator. No pennit has been <br />accepted u.nt:i.l written notice has been recieved <br />by the vendOr indicating an exact location of <br />a booth. Any vendor who has not paid for a <br />space will be closed do~. <br /> <br />b. All vendors are responsible for obtaining <br />health and tax pennits. The Association is not <br />liable for any vendor who has not complied. <br /> <br />c. If the vendor does not show up at the festival <br />and has not requested in writing prior to the <br />eVent~ a refund, no refund will be made. <br /> <br />d. All vendors will pay the fee according to the <br />space they require. <br /> <br />e. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks on the street <br />will be exclusively sold by the ...Main street <br />Association, with the exception' of lemonade, <br />coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Any organization <br />selling alcoholic beverages in conjunction with <br />the fair will need to provide the Association <br />with proof of a currently effective liability <br />policy for the day of the fair in the amount of <br />at least five hundred thou~and dollars. This <br />includes any business on Main street or temp- <br />orary vendor for the day. The Association has <br />the right to close any vendor down ~ho does not <br />comply. <br /> <br />Safety Precautions <br /> <br />a. Fire EXtinguishers - every vendor who has an open <br />flame will need to have a fire extinguisher <br />within their booth.
