<br />Town of La Porte, Texas

<br />Dear Mr. Westergren,
<br />
<br />This letter is to inform you of the La Porte City Council action taken
<br />last night concerning your request to close the alley in Block No.
<br />166, City of La Porte, Texas. The La Porte City Council did approve
<br />your request.
<br />
<br />Ordinance No. 1612, which was drawn up for the closing of the alley in
<br />Block No. 166, does have a stipulation that complies with your request
<br />not to make payment for the closing of the street until closing time.
<br />Section 3 of the Ordinance states "the applicant shall have 60 days
<br />from the effective date hereof to pay the City of La Porte in
<br />certified funds in the sum of $12,379.50 as consideration hereunder."
<br />I would also make note that if the payment to the City of La Porte is
<br />not make within 60 days from the effective date, which is October 10,
<br />1988 the Ordinance will then be null and void.
<br />
<br />A certified copy of the Ordinance will be sent to you upon receipt of
<br />funds in the amount of $12,379.00.
