Martin and J. Martin. Also present were City Secretary Patrice Fogarty, <br />City Manager Corby Alexander, and Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins. <br />2. INVOCATION - The invocation was given by Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins. <br />3. PLEE)GE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Cou ncilmember Dottie <br />Kaminski. <br />4. PRESENTATIONS, PROCLAMATIONS, and RECOGNITIONS <br />(a) Recognition - Float Entry Winners for the 411 of July Parade - Mayor Rigby <br />Mayor Rigby recognized Float Entry Winners from the 4t^ of July Parade. George Watkins thanked <br />the Rotary Club, as well as those who created the floats_ <br />1- Place - La Porte Families - "The Miss Allison 4- of July Boat-float" <br />2- Place - Ken Pridgeon and Cliff Willson - "Portrait of a Warrior" <br />3- Place - First Assembly of God/White Team - <br />Most Original Float went to the First Assembly of God/Red Team - "Celebrating Freedom." <br />(b) Recognition - Retirement of K-9 Lodka, City of La Porte Police department - Mayor Rigby <br />Mayor Rigby recognized the retirement of K-9 Lodka from the City of La Porte Police department, <br />her accomplishments over the years were recognized, as well. <br />5.
