Ferm Executive Vice President Uretek USA, Inc. 9422 Hammerly Houston, TX 77080 Re: West Coupland Drive - Uretek Job #100284 Dear Mr. Ferm: The City Council of the City of La Porte, at a regular meeting on November 16, 1992, passed Ordinance No. 1874, approving a contract between the City of La Porte and Uretek USA, Inc., to rehabilitate West Coupland Drive, and appropriating $90,960.00 to fund the contract. This Ordinance was in consideration of the alternate bid contained in your letter of August 13, 1992, for a total contract price of $90,960.00, with the contract work to be completed in seven (7) :working days. All labor and materials will be provided by Uretek USA, Inc. The contractual arrangement between the City of La Porte and Uretek USA, Inc., shall be governed by the "Service Contract for Undersealing and Lifting Using the Uretek Method", except where in conflict with the terms of the alternate bid contained in your letter of August 13, 1992, and this letter of acceptance. Insurance certificates should be filed with the City of La Porte before work commences. It is understood that no payment will be made by the City of La Porte until completion of the job and acceptance by the City Engineer of the City of La Porte on behalf of the City of La Porte. If this letter accurately states your understanding of the agreement between Uretek USA, Inc. and the City of La Porte, please sign and return a copy of this letter to the City of La Porte, retaining the original as your copy of the agreement.
