The names of an candidates officially nominated to me on or before that date are reflected on the enclosed "Certification of Ballot" forms. Candidates for contested positions are listed alphabetically on the ballot in the manner required by the Texas Tax Code. To assist you in the election procedure, I have enclosed a Certification of Ballot and a suggested form of resolution for casting your vote for the candidate representing your type of taxing unit. Ballot forms for all three types of units are enclosed to make you aware of all nominees, even though only taxing units of a panicular type may vote in the election applicable to that type of unit. The governing body of each taxing unit is entitled to one vote for the candidate of its choice from the names appearing on the appropriate Certification. of Ballot.
