<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ELECTRIC CODE <br /> <br />PAGE 7 <br /> <br />(d) It is hereby intended to prevent a master electrician from <br />securing a permit for the purpose of abating the spirit and intent of <br />this Code by entering into any simulated scheme, transaction or <br />device, whereby electrical work will be done by persons who are not <br />employees of the master electrician, or employees of his employer. <br /> <br />(e) Should any master electrician violate this provision or any <br />of the other provisions specifying that the master electrician shall <br />directly supervise, direct and control the work for which he obtains a <br />permit, his Master Electrician License issued to him under the <br />provisions of this Code shall be revoked by the Electrical Board after <br />notice and hearing. <br /> <br />2.0Q Qualifications of Applicant. Each applicant, before he <br />shall be entitled to take the examination provided for herein, shall <br />have had six (6) years experience as a journeyman electrician, active <br />and practical, during which six-year period he shall have devoted not <br />less than two-thirds (2/3) of his time, exclusive of normal periods of <br />rest and recreation, to electrical work in general. For the purpose <br />of this requirement, a degree or a diploma from a school of electrical <br />engineering shall be considered as the equivalent of two (2) years <br />active and practical experience. <br /> <br />2.10 Application. An application for a Master Electrician <br />License shall be made in writing to the Electrical Board, and shall <br />contain the following: <br /> <br />(a) Name and address of applicant; <br /> <br />(b) Statement as to the active and practical <br />experience of the applicant; <br /> <br />(c) Picture identification will be required at <br />the time of the examination; <br /> <br />All applications shall be sworn to before an officer of this state <br />authorized to administer oaths, and officially certified to by such <br />officer under his seal of office. <br /> <br />2.11 Examination. <br /> <br />(a) Regular examinations for Master Electrician Licenses shall <br />be held at the discretion of the Electrical Board but in no case less <br />than two (2) per year, and not more than seven (7) months between <br />examinations. <br />
