..... . e o RDENANZA NUM. 1657 UNA ORDENANZA LLAMANDO LA ELECCION ESPECIAL DE LA CIUDAD DE LA PORTEj PARA LLENAR LA VACANTE POSICION DE CONSEJERO-A-LA-MAYORIA - POSICION Bj LLAMANDO UNA ELECCION DE EMPATE, SI NECESARIAj DESIGNANDO PRECINTOS ELECTORALES Y LUGARES DE VOTOj PROVEYENDO EL usa DE LAS MAQUINAS DE VOTARj NOMBRANDO OFICIALES ELECTORALESj PROVEYENDO LOS METADOS Y FECHAS DE LA VOTACION EN AUSENCIAj PROVEYENDO POR UN COMITE DE VOTACION EN AUSENCIA; PROVEYENDO LA NOTACION OFICIAL DE LOS VOTOS DE LA ELECCIONj PROVEYENDO LA NOTICIA DE ELECCIONj PROVEYENDO LA FECHA MAS TARDE PARA HACERSE CANDIDATO Y LOS GASTOS PARA ESTOj DANDO UNA CLAUSULA DE SALVAMIENTO, EN LA CUAL SE DECLARA QUE SI UNA PORCION DE LA ELECCION RESULTA INCORRECTA 0 CON ERROR, LAS PORCIONES QUE QUEDAN NO ESTAN AUTOMATICAMENTE INVALIDASj COMPLIENDO CON LA LEY DE LAS SESSIONES ABIERTASj Y POR ESTO PROVEYENDO UNA FECHA EFECTIVA. SEA ORDENADO POR EL AYUNTAMIENTO MUNICIPAL DE LA PORTE: Seccion 1. El ayuntamiento de la Ciudad de La Porte acepta la renuncia de Mike Shipp como Consejero-a-Ia-Mayoria--posicion b, dicha renuncia efectiva el 25 de julio, 19B9. Una eleccion sera administrada dentro de los limetes de la Ciudad de La Porte, Tejas el 9th dia de septiembre, 19B9, ese dia siendo el segundo sabado en septiembre, 19B9, entres las horas de las siete (7:00) a.m. y las siete (7:00) p.m., con el proposito de llenar la vacancia del Consejero-a-la-Mayoria--Posicion B. La eleccion de empate, si necessaria, sera tomada septiembre 30, 19B9, entre las mismas horas. Seccion 2. Dicha eleccion sera tomada en cada uno de los siguentes lugares dentro de la Ciudad de La Porte y las siguentes personas seran oficiales de la eleccion: Precinto Electoral Num 1 Lugar de Votacion: Lomax Elementary School 10615 North Avenue L La Porte, Texas 77571 Fronteras: Empesando en la interseccion del ferrocarril Southern Pacific y Spencer Highway (West Main Street); Siguiendo al oeste por Spencer Highway hasta Big Island Sloughj Siguendo al norte hasta la norte frontera de Creekmont Subdivisionj Siguendo al oeste por la frontera norte de la subdivision de Creekmont hasta Underwood Siguendo al oeste hasta las lineas del ferrocarril Southern Pacificj Siguendo al sureste por las lineas del ferrocarril, siguendo una curva al sur, y continuando al sur por la linea del ferrocarril hasta Spencer Highway (West Main Street)
