<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Ordinance No. <br /> <br />829 <br /> <br />, Page 4. <br /> <br />and the request 1S complied with by the City at any time <br /> <br /> <br />other than that stated above, the charge for turning on the meter <br /> <br />will be Seven Dollars ($7.00). <br /> <br /> <br />(d) In cases where any person gives the City a check in <br /> <br /> <br />payment of water services which is not honored by the drawee <br /> <br />bank for any reason, an additional charge of Two Dollars ($2.00) <br /> <br /> <br />shall be charged to the person giving such check. <br /> <br /> <br />Any or all of the foregoing charges and fees may be <br /> <br />included in regular or special billing of the City Water <br /> <br /> <br />Department, and shall be in addition to all other charges, <br /> <br /> <br />fees or penalties which may be provided by this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 4. Water deposits and refunds. <br /> <br /> <br />Whenever a consumer desires to establish service with <br /> <br /> <br />the City Water Department, he shall tender to such department, <br /> <br /> <br />at least one day prior to the time he desires his property to <br /> <br />be connected with said water services, the proper deposit. <br /> <br /> <br />Deposits will be refunded upon discontinuance of service to <br /> <br /> <br />consumer, after all charges for water service, sewer service, <br /> <br />and garbage service, and any other fees, have been fully satis- <br /> <br />fied. <br /> <br /> <br />Such deposit shall be as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />(a) Owner-occupied single-family residence consumers <br /> <br /> <br />shall not be required to make a deposit. <br /> <br /> <br />(b) Other single-family residence consumers shall be <br /> <br /> <br />required to place on deposit the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.00). <br /> <br />(c) Commercial water consumers shall make a deposit in <br /> <br /> <br />an alnourtt to be determined by the City Administrator, which <br /> <br />shall be based on the type of service requested, the use of <br /> <br /> <br />the property to be served, and the experience of the Water <br /> <br />Department with similar consumers. This deposit is to be <br /> <br />generally comparable to two months water service of commercial <br /> <br /> <br />businesses similar to that of applicant. <br /> <br />(d) Deposits for multiple-family dwellings, including <br /> <br /> <br />duplexes, apartment houses, and trailer courts, and any other <br />
