<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />(c) Commercial organizations engaged in for-profit activity. <br />Commercial organizations engaged in for-profit activity shall <br />pay an hourly rate as established by the city and listed in <br />appendix A of this Code. This rental rate shall apply to any <br />organization which charges instructional or admissions fees to <br />participants or attendees for events at the centers such as <br />karate classes, gymnastics, and the like. This class shall <br />also apply to any commercial event organized for the purpose <br />of profiting from the public at these facilities. <br /> <br />The commercial group must furnish a comprehensive general <br />liability insurance policy, with the city named as an <br />additional named insured, with limits of liability of not less <br />than One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) combined single limit <br />bodily injury and property damage per occurrence. The <br />organization shall furnish the city with certificate of <br />insurance evidencing such coverage. <br /> <br />(d) Hourly rate for set-up. Lessees will be required to pay <br />the hourly rate for set-up, rehearsal event, and clean up. <br />The city will not be responsible for any items left on the <br />premises before, during, or after any event by organizations, <br />participants, or attendees." <br /> <br />section 3. <br /> <br />A new Section 50-273, "Reservation damage <br /> <br />deposit", is hereby added, and shall read as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />"Sec. 50-273. Reservation and damaqe deposit <br /> <br />Reservations must be accompanied by a Reservation'and Damage <br />Deposit as established by the city and listed in Appendix A of <br />this Code. The deposit is in addition to the rental rate. <br />The Reservation and Damage Deposit will reserve the facility <br />for the Lessee until rental payments are made and will provide <br />protection to the Lessor for any damage to the Centers caused <br />by Lessee. Failure of Lessee to vacate premises at the <br />designated hour and/or damages, loss or theft of city property <br />will subject Lessee to additional fees for rental and <br />security, and said additional fees will be deducted from the <br />Reservation and Damage Deposit. Lessee may also be billed for <br />any damages exceeding the deposit amount." <br /> <br />section 4. A new Section 50-274, "Cancellation", is hereby <br /> <br />added, an~ shall read as follows, to-wit: <br />"Sec. 50-274. Cancellation <br /> <br />In the event a rental date is canceled, Lessee shall provide <br />written notice of the cancellation to the city at least thirty <br />(30) days prior to reservation date in order to receive a full <br />refund.
