<br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />B. Illegal Drugs and Alcohol <br /> <br />1. The use, sale, purchase, transfer, or possession in any <br />detectable manner of an illegal drug or alcohol by any <br />individual while on City premises or while performing City <br />business is prohibited. <br /> <br />v. Discipline <br /> <br />A. Any individual who possesses, distributes, sells, <br />attempts to sell, or transfers illegal drugs on City <br />premises or on City business will be discharged or disbarred <br />from the workplace. <br /> <br />B. Any individual who shows positive for an illegal drug or. <br />alcohol in a biological test conducted under the provisions <br />of these procedures will be subject to discipline up to and <br />including discharge or disbarment from the workplace. <br /> <br />C. Any employee who is administered for the first time a <br />biological test that shows positive will be allowed a one- <br />time opportunity to enter and complete a City-approved <br />rehabilitation maintenance program. Failure to enter or <br />complete the program will result in discharge or disbarment <br />from the workplace. <br /> <br />D. Any individual who shows positive for an illegal drug <br />after having tested positive for an illegal drug in a <br />previous test will be discharged or disbarred from the <br />workplace. <br /> <br />E. Any individual who refuses to undergo a health <br />evaluation and/or biological testing when requested to do so <br />by the City will be subject to discipline up to and <br />including discharge or disbarment from the workplace. <br /> <br />F. Any individual who is found to be in possession of <br />contraband will be subject to discipline up to and including <br />discharge or disbarment from the workplace. <br /> <br />G. Any individual who fails to cooperate during an <br />investigation of a positive test result will be subject to <br />discipline up to and including discharge or disbarment from <br />the workplace. <br /> <br />H. Any individual who attempts to substitute or contaminate <br />his or her specimen to be presented for testing will be <br />terminated. <br /> <br />I. If an individual is the subject of a drug-related <br />investigation by the City or by a law enforcement agency, <br />the individual may be suspended pending completion of the <br />investigation. <br />
