AN ORDINANCE AMENDING "APPENDIX A, FEES," OF THE COD:&; OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, CONTAINING A REPEALING CLAUSE, CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. .BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section 1. The following Chapters of "Appendix A - - Fees," of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte are hereby amended and shall hereafter read as follows. The amendments contained in this ordinance shall be effective October 1, 2005, unless otherwise stated. Section 2. Chapter 10, "Amusements," Article II. Coin Operated Machines, Division 2. Occupation Tax, is hereby amended by adding a subparagraph (b), to-wit: "(b) Registration fees............ 25.00 10-51" Section 3. Chapter 22, "Businesses," Article V. Peddlers, solicitors and Canvassers, Division 2.
