Position 1: Deborah Rihn-Harvey, fixed base operator lessee; term expiring August 31, 2019. <br />Position 2: Grant Tucker, licensed pilot with an aircraft at the airport; term expiring August 31, <br />2019. <br />Position 3: Gerald Gay, licensed pilot who is a resident of the City with an aircraft housed at <br />the airport; term expiring August 31, 2019. <br />Position 4: Hector Villarreal, resident of the City; term expiring August 31, 2018. <br />Position 5: Van Wigginton, Provost, San Jacinto College, individual in a leadership position <br />approved or suggested by the Chancellor of the College; term expiring August 31, <br />2018. <br />Position 6: Sharon Valiante, City of La Porte Municipal Airport Manager; serves without term. <br />Section 3. It is the intent and purpose of the City Council that the Airport Advisory Board <br />advise City Council from time to time on matters relating to the most desirable and efficient operation of <br />the City of La Porte Municipal Airport. To this end, it is the desire of the City Council that members of <br />the Board establish a communication liaison with the City of La Porte management staff on matters <br />relating to the operation of the City of La Porte Municipal Airport. <br />Further, it is the desire of the City Council that the Airport Advisory Board review, from time to <br />time, the City of La Porte Airport Master Plan, and recommend to City Council any updates or revisions <br />to such Airport Master Plan. It is the desire of City Council that the Airport Advisory Board make <br />recommendations to City Council on such matters as rules and regulations, and traffic patterns for <br />operations at the City of La Porte Municipal Airport, and for any needed improvements to the facilities <br />at the Airport, including such matters as navigational aids, zoning requests, height restrictions, <br />community development, and the like, as well as any other improvements which the Board feels <br />would enhance the utility of the City of La Porte Municipal Airport to its users and to the community <br />at large. <br />Section 4. If any section, sentence, phrase, clause, or any part of any section, sentence, <br />phrase, or clause, of this Ordinance shall, for any reason, be held invalid, such invalidity shall not <br />affect the remaining portions of this Ordinance, and it is hereby declared to be the intention of this <br />City Council to have passed each section, sentence, phrase, or clause, or part thereof, irrespective <br />2 <br />
