Mayor Alton Porter and City Council <br />City of La Porte <br /> <br />Re: Special Conditional Use Permit #SCU05-005 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Porter: <br /> <br />The La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission, during a regular meeting on May 19, 2005, <br />considered Special Conditional Use ,Permit #SCU05-005. The applicant, Dr. Dilip Patel of La Porte <br />Medical Clinic, seeks approval to allow off-site parking for the existing facility located at 404 West <br />Fairmont Parkway. <br /> <br />After consideration, the Planning and Zoning Commission, by a unanimous vote, recommends <br />that City Council consider approval of Special Conditional Use Permit #SCU05-005 with the <br />following conditions in place: <br /> <br />1. SCUP#05-005 is specifically limited to the off-site parking. <br />2. Screening and landscaping of the parking lot must be provided by the <br />owner/developer in accordance with Section 106-444(a) of the Ordinances. The <br />landscaping should be a mixture of trees and shrubs. <br />3. Paved area of parking lot would be concrete equipped with lighting and <br />landscaping. <br />4. All construction costs and sidewalks installation will be responsibility of the lessee. <br />5. The monthly lease fee is expected to be approximately $320.00. <br />6. A properly drawn legal instrument (lease agreement), duly approved by the City <br />Attorney, shall be filed with the City SecretaI)'. <br />7.
