The new <br />section 4 will authorize the Chief of Police to appoint the person to occupy the position <br />immediately below him and that he person appointed serves at the pleasure of the Chief of <br />Police. <br /> <br />Action Required bv Council: <br /> <br />Recommend that the Council approve this update, Ordinance 1285 Q to the Civil Service <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />Date ~r,r <br />
