Amendments. <br /> <br />The mechanical code adopted in Section 82-441 shall be amended as follows: <br /> <br />Section 10 1.1 is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />101,1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the Mechanical Code of the City of La <br />Porte, hereinafter referred to as "this code", <br /> <br />Section 103.1 is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />1 03.1 General. The City's Inspection Services Division shall serve as the Department of <br />Inspection. The Chief Building Official thereof shall be known as the code official. <br /> <br />1 03.2 Appointment. Section is deleted in its entirety. <br /> <br />Section 106.5.3 is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />106.5.3 Fee Refunds, No.2 (permit Fee) - Not more than fifty percent (50%) of the <br />permit fee paid when no work has been done under a permit issued in accordance with <br />this code. <br /> <br />106.5.3 Fee Refunds, No.3 (Plan Review) is deleted, <br /> <br />Section 109 is hereby deleted: <br /> <br />109 Means of Appeal. Deletion of entire section (Sections 109.1 thru 109.7). <br /> <br />Section 7: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this <br />ordinance are hereby repealed; provided, however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of <br />such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other <br />ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 8. Any person, as defined in Section 1,07 (27), Texas Penal Code, who shall <br />violate any provision of the ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon <br />conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($2,000.00). <br /> <br />12 <br />
