This allowed all <br />changes to be identified in one single document.) <br /> <br />INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE (IRe). (2003 Edition) <br /> <br />Section RIO!. I Title was identified as the "residential code" for the city. <br /> <br />Section RI01.2 "Exception" is a proposed deletion since the Int'!. Existing Building <br />Code was not adopted, <br /> <br />Section Rl03.! Creation of Enforcement Agency was amended to show the Inspection <br />Services Division shall enforce the building and construction codes of the city and the <br />Chief Building Official shall be known as the code official. <br /> <br />Section RI05.2 Work Exempt from Permit is amended to show a proposed deletion of <br />building permit exemptions #1 (accessory structures), #2 (fences), #3 (retaining walls) <br />and #5 (sidewalks/driveways). Placement is addressed by city zoning regulations, <br />Permit is needed to avoid contlict with zoning regulations. <br /> <br />Section R112 Board of Appeals is a proposed deletion since the city is developing a <br />codes appeal board for this purpose. <br /> <br />Table R301.2(1) Climatic and Geographic Design Criteria is a proposed completion <br />based on data on our area. <br /> <br />Section R309.5 Flood Hazard Areas is a proposed deletion to reduce/avoid conflict with <br />city's existing tlood regulations, <br /> <br />Section R323 Flood-Resistant Construction is a proposed deletion to reduce/avoid <br />contlict with city's existing tlood regulations, <br /> <br />Section R905.7 Wood Shingles is a proposed "prohibition" based on fire safety reasons. <br /> <br />Section R905.8 Wood Shakes is a proposed "prohibition" based on fire safety reasons. <br /> <br />Part VIII. Chapters 33 thru 42 Electrical Chapters are deleted in accordance with the <br />directive of the Governor. National Electrical Code is the state electrical code. <br /> <br />Appendix E Manufactured Housing Used as Dwellings is a proposed deletion to avoid <br />conflicts with the city zoning regulations. <br />
