<br />Ordinance No. 1168-8 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. That the line providing water to the applicant's property be a separate line <br /> <br /> <br />running directly from the existing water well, and not be co-joined to an <br /> <br />existing water line serving other properties and/or buildings; <br /> <br />. That all expenses be paid by the applicant; <br />. That no water lines be permitted to cross any public facility or right of way <br /> <br />unless permitted by the City's Department of Public Works as to the method <br /> <br />and design of the crossing, and the suitable restoration of all public facilities; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />. That in any event, if and when city water becomes available to said <br /> <br />property, by the City locating a water main within said 300 feet of the <br /> <br />property, the alternate provision of water the applicant's property shall <br /> <br />immediately cease. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Any person, as defined in Section 1.02(27) Texas Penal Code, who <br /> <br />shall violate any provision of this Ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and <br /> <br />upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00). <br /> <br />Each day a violation of this ordinance shall continue shall constitute a separate violation. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. All rights or remedies of the City of La Porte, Texas, are expressly <br /> <br />saved as to any and all violations of any Zoning Ordinance or amendments thereto, of said <br /> <br />City of La Porte, that have accrued at the time of the effective date of this Ordinance; and <br /> <br />as to such accrued violation, the court shall have all the powers that existed prior to the <br /> <br />effective date of this Ordinance; and as to such accrued violation, the court shall have all <br /> <br />the powers that existed prior to the effective date of this Ordinance; and that all existing <br /> <br />violations of previous zoning ordinances which would otherwise become non-conforming <br />
