The Firm of <br />CDM was selected, and subsequently designed the improvements funded by the recent bond issue. Phase" of the <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements includes the examination and possible improvements to the aeration <br />process of the Plant. Funds remaining from the bond issue were set aside, in the amount of$100,000, in the FY 03- <br />04 General Obligation Bond Fund (Fund 43) to perfoml the Study. <br /> <br />The firm of CDM was primarily selected on the personnel available to perform the initial study, and subsequently <br />used for the design ofthe improvements identified. Since that time, the principal personnel have been transferred to <br />the firm's Fort Worth office, and are not available for this Project. <br /> <br />The firm ofPBS&J, Inc. was the second ranked firm in the initial RFQ. The principal personnel are still available to <br />perfrom all work associated with the Phase II Improvements at the Plant. A scope of work has been developed, and <br />PBS&J has submitted a proposed Professional Services Agreement for consideration.
