The City <br />has previously requested that the County install a cantilever arm traffic signal system rather than <br />a pole-span system. The original estimated cost difference was $10,000, which was budgeted in <br />the FY 2003-04 General Capital Improvement Fund. <br /> <br />HalTis County has notified the City that the revised estimated cost difference is $20,000, and has <br />included that amount as the City's contribution to the Project in the attached Agreement. The <br />additional $10,000 is available in the General Capital Improvement Fund contingency. <br /> <br />Action Required bv Council: Approve an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to execute an <br />agreement between the City of La Porte and Harris County for the installation of a traffic signal, <br />and authorize the payment of $20,000 to the County, with $10,000 from the original budget and <br />$10,000 from the General Capital Improvement Fund Contingency. <br /> <br />Approved for City Council Ae:enda <br /> <br /> <br />! /) 0/ ~ -d 5 <br /> <br />Date - <br />
