(pit; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />COMMENCING at the southwest comer of Block 861, Town of La Porte, Harris <br />County, Texas, said loint being the northeast corner of the intenection of West "H" <br />Street and South 16 Street; <br /> <br />THENCE, in an easterly direction along the north right-of-way line of West "H" Street, <br />a distance of 10' to the POINT OF BEGINNING; <br /> <br />THENCE, continuing in an easterly direction along the north right-of-way line of West <br />"H" Street, a distance of 256' to a point for corner at the southeast comer of Block 861, <br />Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, said point being located on the west right-of- <br />way line of South 15th Street; <br /> <br />THENCE, in a southerly direction along a line projected between the west line of Block <br />861 and the west line of Block 868, to a point for corner at the northeast comer of Block <br />868, Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, said point being located on the west <br />right-of-way of South 15th Street; <br /> <br />THENCE, in a westerly direction along the West"H" Street Right-of-Way and the <br />north line of Block 868, a distance of 226' to point for corner, said point being located <br />40' east of the northwest corner of Block 868; <br /> <br />THENCE, in a northwesterly direction, across the West "H" Street Right-of-Way, a <br />distance of 85.44' to POINT OF BEGINNING. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council officially finds, detennines, recites, and declares that a <br />sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place, and subject of this meeting of the City Council <br />was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the City for the time required by <br />law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas <br />Government Code; and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all <br />times during which this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, considered, <br />and formally acted upon. The City Council further ratifies, approves, and confirms such written <br />notice and the contents and posting thereof <br /> <br />Section 3. <br />so ordered. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage and approval, and it is <br />
