Leaks under bottom slab in circulating line (Causing sand to <br />migrate through water jet) <br /> <br />2. Repair backwash valve (Will not shut off completely) <br /> <br />3. Replace check valves on circulating pumps 1 and 2 with valve <br />and fittings that meet approved equipment submittal. (Per <br />emergency warranty item 3, one valve has failed and been <br />replaced with a spool.) <br /> <br />4. Investigate and" repair plenum leaks-EXTREMELY IMPORTANT <br />The plenum still exhibits evidence of leaks, water appears to <br />be migrating into plenum and air continues to escape. It is <br />imperative that the plenum be LEAKPROOF, otherwise the <br />building may settle and cause extensive damage. Also, earlier <br />repairs and grouting have deteriorated. <br /> <br />5. Skimmer grating continues to lift off in certain areas. <br />Investigate,and fasten grating in a manner which allows for <br />easy removal for cleaning. <br /> <br />6. Examine the j oint between the floor slab and the vertical <br />walls of the sump pit. City has removed large clumps of loose <br />material at this joint and has filled the joint with a quick <br />drying waterproof sealer as a temporary fix. The sump pit <br />should be examined for leaks/defects as the area directly <br />behind the pit stays wet. <br /> <br />7. Investigate noise from circulation motor/pump installation <br />number one. <br /> <br />8. Set overflow valve in sump pit to its proper operating level. <br />
