CALL TO ORDER <br />Meeting called to order at 6:10 P.M. by Chairman Tom Campbell. <br /> <br />2. CONSIDER APPROVING MINUTES FROM THE MAY 18,2006 MEETING <br />Motion to approve the May 18, 2006 minutes, as submitted, was made by Ron Holt. <br />Second by Ken Schlather. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />3. REVIEW AND DISCUSS CHAPTERS 13-15 OF THE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING <br />CODE <br />Mrs. Wilmore advised the Board there are no local amendments to these chapters. <br />General review and discussion of the chapters followed. There was some discussion of <br />the City's requirement that primary pan drain lines go to a working p-trap. <br /> <br />A question was raised by Chairman Campbell regarding an "approved place of disposal" <br />referred to in Sect. 1411.3. He asked that staff research it to see if the city's requirement <br />to go to a working p-trap is by code or by policy. Findings can be provided to Board <br />members at the next meeting. <br /> <br />John Elfstrom made a motion to close the review and discussion of these chapters. <br />Second by Terry Bunch. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />4. DISCUSS CODE AND MANUFACTURER REQUIREMENTS ON SPARK <br />ARRESTORS FOR FIREPLACES <br />After general review and discussion, Mr. Bunch made a motion to leave the code <br />requirements as is, no change proposed. Second by Mr. Elfstrom. Motion passed <br />unanimously. <br />
