<br /> <br />City of La Porte <br />Established 1892 <br /> <br />March 20, 2007 <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor Alton Porter and City Council <br />City of La Porte <br /> <br />Re: Special Conditional Use Permit #SCU07-003 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Porter and Council: <br /> <br />The La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission, during a regular meeting on March 15,2007, <br />considered Special Conditional Use Permit #SCU07-003. Wycoff Construction, Inc., on behalf of <br />Process Product, seeks approval to allow off-site parking for the existing facility located at 227 <br />North 8th Street. <br /> <br />After consideration, the Planning and Zoning Commission, by a unanimous vote, recommends <br />that City Council consider approval of Special Conditional Use Permit #SCU07-003 with the <br />following conditions in place: <br /> <br />1. #SCU07-003 is specifically limited to the off-site parking. <br />2. Off-site parking shall comply with all parking standards. <br />3. Screening and/or landscaping of parking lot shall be required in accordance with Section 106- <br />444(a) of the Code of Ordinances. <br />4. All lighting in the parking lot shall be hooded and arranged to deflect light away from the <br />adjoining properties in compliance with Section 106-521(a). <br />5.
