BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: Section 1. Under and by virtue of the power granted to the City of La Porte under its home rule charter and Chapter 253, Section 253.001, Texas Local Government Code, the hereinafter described portion of the South 11 th Street Right-Of-Way Town of La Porte, City Of La Porte, Harris County, Texas and the hereinafter described portion of the Alley in Block 122, Town of La Porte, City of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, is hereby permanently vacated, abandoned, and closed by the City of La Porte, to wit: That portion of the South 11th Street Right-Of-Way from the southernmost right-of- way line of the West "E" Street Right-Of-Way projected south a distance of two hundred (200) feet to a point for corner and also lying between Lots 25 through 32 of Block 121 and Lots 1 through 8 of Block 122; And the alley in Block 122 from the southernmost right-of-way line of West "E" Street projected south a distance of two hundred (200) feet to a point for corner and also lying between Lots 1 through 8 and Lots 25 through 32 of Block 122, Town of La Porte, City Of La Porte, Harris County, Texas; Both tracts totaling fifteen thousand two hundred (15,200) square feet as generally illustrated on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part of herein; Section 2.
