Area Map <br /> <br />Budgeted Item: _YES -X-NO <br /> <br />SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The City has received an application from Enterprise GC, L.P. to install a 12" Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline <br />generally along the southernmost line in the West Fairmont Parkway right-of-way and lying within an <br />existing pipeline corridor. The pipeline installation will begin 3413' West of Bay Area Boulevard and end <br />877' East of Bay Area Boulevard. The pipeline will operate at a maximum pressure of 1480 psig, <br /> <br />In reviewing the permit application and plans as submitted, the City Engineer and Public Works Department <br />have approved the plans and deem no conflict is anticipated with existing city infrastructure. Harris County <br />has approved a permit for the pipeline segment which crosses the Bay Area Boulevard right-of-way. <br /> <br />The request meets all requirements of Ordinance 2004-2755. The application fee of $1000.00 has been <br />paid, Any future relocation of the pipeline permitted within the City, State, or County rights-of-way shall be <br />at the sole expense of the permittee. <br /> <br />In accordance with Section 102-236 and 102-237, City Council must review and approve the permit <br />application. If approved, City Council will thereby authorize the Director of Planning or his designee to <br />execute the permit in duplicate originals, one which shall be delivered to the permittee and one which shall <br />be retained by the City. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that City Council authorize the Planning Director to execute the permit as requested by <br />applicant. <br /> <br />Action Required of Council: <br /> <br />Consider approval of ordinance to authorize the Planning Director to execute the permit as requested by <br />applicant. <br /> <br />Approved for City Council Agenda <br /> <br /> <br />:lr~ <br />Dat <br />
