<br />THE STATE OF TEXAS ) <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HARRIS ) <br />CITY OF LA PORTE ) <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />In accordance with the provisions of Section 106-171 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of La <br />Porte and the provisions of the Texas Local Government Code, notice is hereby given that the La <br />Porte Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 P.M. on the 24th day <br />of March, 2004, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, <br />Texas. The purpose of this hearing is to consider Special Conditional Use Permit #SCD04-003, <br />requested for property located south of McCabe Road and the easterly right-of-way line of State <br />Highway 146; being TRS 8, 8A, SF-I, 49A, & 9B of the W. P. Harris Survey, Abstract 30, La <br />Porte, Harris County, Texas. The applicant, Robert Burchfield, of Burchfield Development, L.P., <br />seeks to develop a multi-family residential on approx. 28.43 acres in the Planned Unit Development <br />(PUD) zoning district. In accordance with Section 106-216 of the Code of Ordinances, a Special <br />Conditional Use Permit is required for development in the PUD zoning district. <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission will follow the public hearing.
