<br />projects throughout town. <br /> <br />The result is that, in the future, the town's streets will be in better shape. <br /> <br />Look at prioritizing the street work like planning repairs at home. <br /> <br />Would a homeowner spend an equal amount of dollars per room - despite the fact that <br />the kitchen is in dire need of repairs and the back bedroom simply has a bad electrical <br />plug? Most people fix the worst problems first and move on down the list. <br /> <br />The city of Bay town should do the same. <br /> <br />The majority of the funding from the street sales tax should be spent where there is the <br />most need, regardless of council lines. <br /> <br />City Council members represent their districts, but their duty is to do what is overall <br />best for Bay town. <br /> <br />City crews are ready to start making repairs as soon as council makes a decision. <br /> <br />With street work clearly needing to be done and elections around the corner, there is no <br />reason for this decision to be dragged out any longer. <br /> <br />Today's editorial was written by David Bloom, managing editor of The Bay town Sun, on <br />behalf of the newspaper's editorial board. <br /> <br />2 <br />
