Hodge
Director of Public Works
City of La Porte
P.O. Box lll5
La Porte, Texas 77571~

Dear Hr. Hodge:

Exxon Pipeline Company has reviewed the City of La Porte's pro-
posal to construct three (3) taxi lanes and one (l) access road
across our pipeline easement at the La Porte Airport. We offer
no objection to the proposed construction provided:

1. We receive a satisfactory reimbursement commitment
whereby the City of La Porte agrees to reimburse
Exxon Pipeline Company for 100% of the cost to
lower our pipelines to accommodate the construction.
Estimated cost is $47,026.00.

2. The width of each proposed taxiway crossing our pipe-
line easement is reduced from the proposed width of
fifty feet (50') to forty feet (40') in order to min-
imize the amount of pavement over our pipeline ease-
ment.

We ask that you redesign the taxiways as requested above and
contact me at 656-1676 to discuss the reimbursement commitment.

Very truly yours,

df.~.~

S.
