Feazelle, City Manager <br /> <br />Re: Northside Neighborhood North Second Street Project <br />Project Numbers: CD 2004-019 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Porter: <br /> <br />The Harris County Community and Economic Development Department (HCCEDD) is in <br />receipt of project bids, bid tabulations, and the recommendation from City Engineer, Rodney <br />Slaton for the above-referenced project. Based on our review of the submitted documents, this <br />office concurs with Mr. Slaton's recommendation to award the contract for the Northside <br />Neighborhood North Second Street Extension Project to the apparent responsible bidder. Texcor <br />Construction Services, Inc. who submitted the lowest and best bid with a base bid of <br />$132,936.33; therefore, the City of La Porte. may issue the Notice of Award and proceed with <br />the letting of the contract. <br /> <br />Pursuant to the terms of Agreement between Harris County and the City of La Porte, please <br />forward to this office for review and approval as to form, a copy of the contract for construction <br />with T excor Construction Services, Inc prior to contract final execution. <br /> <br />If you have any questions or comments, you may contact Ms. Millicent T.
