<br />;P/= ~7-t?~ <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2007- 30 4- g <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 2004-2755, <br />BEING CHAPTER 102, NATURAL RESOURCES, ARTICLE IV, "PIPELINE <br />TRANSPORTA TION" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA <br />PORTE, TEXAS, TO CONSTRUCT A TWELVE (12") INCH AND AN EIGHT (8") <br />INCH PIPELINE SYSTEM FOR THE TRANSPORTATION OF LIQUIFIED <br />PETROLEUM GASSES; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS <br />LAW; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of La Porte has received an application dated <br />June 8, 2007 from HSC Pipeline Partnership, L.P., requesting a permit under Ordinance No. <br />2004-2755, being Chapter 102, Natural Resources, Article IV, "Pipeline Transportation" of the <br />Code of Ordinances of The City of La Porte, to construct and operate its 12-inch and an 8-inch <br />pipeline for the transportation of NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS, crossing the City of La Porte, all <br />as shown on said application. The application of HSC Pipeline Partnership, L.P. has been <br />reviewed by the Director of Planning, who has found that said application meets all requirements <br />of Ordinance 2004-2755, and has recommended its approval. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby approves the application <br />ofHSC Pipeline Partnership, L.P., dated June 8, 2007, and this Ordinance authorizes the Director <br />of Planning or his designee to execute the permit as requested by applicant. <br /> <br />Section 3. The City Council officially finds, determines, recites, and declares that a <br />sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place, and subject of this meeting of the City Council <br />was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the City for the time required by <br />law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas <br />Government Code; and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all <br />times during which this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, considered, <br />and formally acted upon.
