<br />ff- 2PtJ7 - tfJS <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2007- 3 05 Q <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 2004-2755, <br />BEING CHAPTER 102, NATURAL RESOURCES, ARTICLE IV, "PIPELINE <br />TRANSPORTATION" OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF mE CITY OF LA <br />PORTE, TEXAS, TO CONSTRUCT A SIX (6") INCH PIPELINE FOR THE <br />TRANSPORTATION OF LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GASSES; FINDING <br />COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of La Porte has received an application dated <br /> <br />July 2, 2007 from South Texas NGL Pipelines, LLC, requesting a permit under Ordinance No. <br />2004-2755, being Chapter 102, Natural Resources, Article IV, "Pipeline Transportation" of the <br />Code of Ordinances of The City of La Porte, to construct and operate its 6-inch pipeline for the <br />transportation of NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS, crossing the City of La Porte, all as shown on said <br />application. The application of South Texas NGL Pipelines, LLC has been reviewed by the <br />Director of Planning, who has found that said application meets all requirements of Ordinance <br />2004-2755, and has reconnnended its approval. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of La Porte hereby approves the application <br />of South Texas NGL Pipelines, LLC, dated July 2, 2007, and this Ordinance authorizes the <br />Director of Planning or his designee to execute the permit as requested by applicant. <br /> <br />Section 3. The City Council officially fmds, determines, recites, and declares that a <br />sufficient written notice of the date, hour, place, and subject of this meeting of the City Council <br />was posted at a place convenient to the public at the City Hall of the City for the time required by <br />law preceding this meeting, as required by the Open Meetings Law, Chapter 551, Texas <br />Government Code; and that this meeting has been open to the public as required by law at all <br />times during which this ordinance and the subject matter thereof has been discussed, considered, <br />and formally acted upon.
