The property owner or biB repreBentati7e seeking <br />to maintain the existing non conforming Btructure Bhall have <br />the burden of proving to the Doard of A~juatment that thc <br />structure haB not been vacatcd or used for a period of one <br />hundred eighty (180) consecative calendar days, and/or that <br />the owner or his representative did not intend to abandon the <br />non confonRing Btructure during the period of cessation of use <br />of the non conforming structure. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 4 - 202 Non-Conforming Uses <br /> <br />1. Continuance of Non-Conforming Uses <br /> <br />Any non conforming use may be continued in operation on the <br />BatRe land area and on the safflC floor in a 3tructure or <br />structures which were occupied by the non conforming usc on <br />the cffective date of any amendment by ~hich the use became <br />non conforming, but such land or floor area Bhall not be <br />increaBed, except that Buch limitation shall not apply for <br />farming UBCS. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Registration of Non Conforminq Use <br /> <br />It shall be the right of thc tenants and owner3 of a non <br />conforming UBC to regi3tcr same by 3ecuring a Certificate of <br />Occupancy a3 provided in Cection 11 of tRia Ordinance. <br /> <br />~~.
