CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Norman L. Malone at 6:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Members of City Council Present: Mayor Norman L. B. <br />Williamson <br /> <br />Others Present: John Black, representing the La Porte Bayshore Sun and several La Porte <br />citizens <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE DEATII OF COUNCILPERSON ROBERT E. <br />"BOB" THROWER DISTRICT 3 - Mayor Malone <br /> <br />Mayor Malone read a letter from Mrs. Wanda Thrower thanking the City for its expression of <br />sympathy in the death of Councilperson Thrower. (Exhibit A) Mayor Malone expressed the <br />City's heart felt sympathy to the Thrower family. <br /> <br />2. INVOCATION BY REV. OLIVER STILLWELL - FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD <br />CHURCH <br /> <br />In the absence of Rev. Oliver Stillwell, Kevin LeVrier, Deacon at the First Assembly of God <br />Church, La Porte, delivered the invocation. <br />
