The order thus adopted follows: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NAYS: <br />ABSTENTIONS: <br /> <br />r-..~ <br /> <br /> <br />L t <br />[~] <br /> <br />CC:,',1;; <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County has applied for and received funds from the United States Government <br />under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Public Law 97-383 <br />application number B-2002-UC-48-0002; CD2002-105. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County wishes to engage the City of La Porte to assist the County in utilizing <br />such funds; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of La Porte shall insure recognition of the role of the County in providing <br />services through this contract. All activities, facilities, and items utilized pursuant to this <br />contract shall be prominently labeled as to funding source. In addition, the City of La Porte will <br />include reference to Harris County Office of Housing and Economic Development ("HCOHED") <br /> <br />26 <br />
