The names of all candidates <br />officially nominated to me on or before that date are reflected on the enclosed "Certification of <br />Ballot" forms. <br /> <br />Candidates for contested positions are listed alphabetically on the ballot in the manner required <br />by the Texas Tax Code. <br /> <br />To assist you in the election procedure, I have enclosed a Certification of Ballot and a suggested <br />form of resolution for casting your vote for the candidate representing your type of taxing unit. <br />Ballot forms for all three types of units are enclosed to make you aware of all nominees, even <br />though only taxing units of a particular type may vote in the election applicable to that type of <br />unit. The governing body of each taxing unit is entitled to one vote for the candidate of its <br />choice from th~names appearing on the appropriate Certification of Ballot. <br /> <br />No later than December 15,2005, each governing body must cast its vote for one of the <br />nominees, formally adopt a resolution naming the person for whom it votes, and submit a <br />certified copy to the chief appraiser. The vote must be by resolution. The resolution, or a <br />certified copy thereof, together with the completed Certification of Ballot, must be delivered to <br />Jim Robinson, Chief Appraiser, 13013 Northwest Freeway, Houston, Texas 77040, or mailed to <br />P. O. Box 920975, Houston, Texas 77292-0975 to arrive before Thursday, December 15,2005. <br />The outside of the envelope should be marked "Ballot for Board of Directors." <br />
