Eversole <br />:-3 -< <br />Radack and Eversole <br />AGENDA LETTER <br />Please consider the following item on the Commissioners Court Agenda for March 20, 2007. <br />Approval of the tax abatement agreement between Harris County, Preferred Freezer <br />Services Houston Port, LLC (Lessee) a Delaware limited liability corporation, and Under <br />Bear, LLC (Owner/Lessor) a Delaware limited liability corporation, for a cold storage <br />warehouse and distribution facility within Harris County on a 10.115 acre tract located at <br />10000 Porter Road, La Porte, Texas 77571 in Precinct 2. Preferred Freezer Services <br />Houston Port, LLC will invest a minimum of $10.4 million of which $9.9 million will be <br />subject to abatement in the proposed facility and will create 35 full time jobs in Harris <br />County. <br />The City of La Porte held the required public hearing, created the Reinvestment Zone, <br />and approved its own tax abatement on November 6, 2006. <br />Commissioners Court approved an Early Start Variance on November 21, 2006. <br />i cerely, <br />David B.
