Broadway (Business SH146 and SH Spur501) from Fairmont Parkway southward to Fairfield Street. In March 2003 the City was awarded this project under the program. This Advance Funding Agreement is the first step in pursuing this project for the City of La Porte. The agreement provides the procedure for implementation of the scope of work. This project will be designed and installed entirely by The TxDOT Houston District Office. Total cost of the project is estimated to be $568,746. Federal funds will provide $454,997, with the matching share of$113,749 to be paid by TxDOT. Under terms of the agreement, the City will pay any costs over the projected budget in order to complete the project. Upon completion, the City will be responsible for maintenance of the project for a period of at least 10 years.
