<br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that the CITY OF LA PORTE, TRUSTEE, for the use
<br />and benefit of itself, the LA PORTE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, the SAN JACINTO
<br />COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT and THE STATE OF TEXAS, COUNTY OF HARRIS,
<br />acting by and through its duly elected officials ("GRANTOR") as authorized by Section 34.05,
<br />Texas Property Tax Code, for and in consideration of the sum ofTEN DOLLARS AND 00/100
<br />($10.00) AND OTHER GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, in hand paid by CITY OF
<br />LA PORTE ("GRANTEE") the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, has
<br />conveyed and quitclaimed and by these presents do convey and quitclaim unto said Grantees all
<br />right, title and interest of the CITY OF LA PORTE, THE LA PORTE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
<br />DISTRICT, THE SAN JACINTO COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT, AND THE STATE OF
<br />TEXAS, COUNTY OF HARRIS in the property herein conveyed, acquired by tax foreclosure sale
<br />heretofore held, in Cause No. 2004-23384, styled City of La Porte, La Porte Independent School
<br />District, the San Jacinto Community College District, and Harris County vs. Cheryle Denise Brown
<br />(Tract 1), and in Cause No. 1999-51612, styled City of La Porte, La Porte Independent School
<br />District, the San Jacinto Community College District, and Harris County vs. Thomas E. Lewis
<br />(Tract 2) said property being described as:

<br />TRACT 1: LOTS 19 AND 20, IN BLOCK 63, TOWN OF LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY,
<br />TEXAS, ACCORDING TO THE MAP THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 58, PAGE 462, OF
<br />THE DEED RECORDS OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS, (ACCOUNT NUMBER 023-196-063-
<br />0031).

<br />TRACT 2: LOTS 5 AND 6, IN BLOCK 66, LA PORTE, AN ADDITION IN HARRIS
<br />COUNTY, TEXAS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN A DEED FILED IN THE REAL
<br />PROPERTY RECORDS OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS UNDER CLERK'S FILE NUMBER
<br />N148228, AND COMMONLY DESCRIBED AS218 NORTH SIXTH STREET, LA PORTE,
<br />TEXAS 77571 (ACCOUNT NUMBER 023-197-066-0005).

<br />This conveyance is made and accepted subject to the following matters to the extent that the
<br />same are in effect at this time: any and all rights of redemption, restrictions, covenants, conditions,
<br />easements, encumbrances and outstanding mineral interests, if any, relating to the hereinabove
<br />described property, but only to the extent they are stillin effect, shown of record in the hereinabove
<br />mentioned County and State, and to all zoning laws, regulations and ordinances of municipal and/or
<br />other governmental authorities, if any but only to the extent that they are still in effect, relating to
<br />the hereinabove described property.

<br />TO HA VE AND TO HOLD said premises, together with all and singular the rights,
<br />privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said CITY OF LA PORTE,
<br />its successors and assigns forever, so that neither the CITY OF LA PORTE, THE LA PORTE
<br />INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT,THE SAN JACINTO JUNIOR COMMUNITY COLLEGE
<br />DISTRICT, AND THE STATE OF TEXAS, COUNTY OF HARRIS any person claiming under it
<br />shall at any time hereafter have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or
<br />appurtenances, or any part thereof. .
