<br />ORDINANCE NO. ~ ZS37- F <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING DAPPENDIX A, FEES, D OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES <br />OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, BY INCREASING USER FEES FOR GOLF CARTS, <br />CONTAINING A REPEALING CLAUSE, CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, <br />FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW, AND PROVIDING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Chapter 50 of Appendix A -- Fees, "Parks and <br /> <br />Recreation," Article II, "Golf Course", subparagraphs (a) and (b), <br /> <br />are hereby amended and shall hereafter read as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br />"(a) User fees for golf carts (regular rate) <br /> <br />(1) 18 holes, double................ <br /> <br />26.00 <br /> <br />(2) Nine holes, double.............. <br /> <br />16.00 <br /> <br />(3) Nine holes, single.............. <br /> <br />11.00 <br /> <br />(4) 18 holes, single................ <br /> <br />16.00 <br /> <br />(b) User fees for golf carts (senior rate) <br />(1) 18 holes, single or double. . . . . . <br /> <br />20.00 <br /> <br />(2) Nine holes, single or double.... <br /> <br />14.00" <br /> <br />Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> <br />herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict only. <br /> <br />Section 3. If any section, sentence, phrase, clause, or any <br /> <br />part of any section, sentence, phrase, or clause, of this Ordinance <br /> <br />shall, for any reason, be held invalid, such invalidity shall not <br /> <br />affect the remaining portions of this Ordinance, and it is hereby <br />declared to be the intention of this City Council to have passed <br /> <br />each section, sentence, phrase, or clause, or part thereof, <br /> <br />irrespective of the fact that any other section, sentence, phrase, <br /> <br />or clause, or part thereof, may be declared invalid. <br />
